Producer / Project Manager (Freelance, Project-Based)

Girl Rising is hiring a freelance Producer / Project Manager to lead the Unmuted: The Girl Rising Global Storytelling Challenge and related documentary production on a full-time-equivalent, project-based contract. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates in India, Kenya or Guatemala, and runs for roughly 8 months to 1 year with potential extension. You will oversee program design, production planning, coordination with global partners, and delivery of storytelling outputs, managing budgets, timelines and creative teams. Success involves launching and executing the storytelling challenge effectively, producing high-quality content and maintaining strong relationships with collaborators. This engagement suits an experienced producer or project manager comfortable working as an independent contractor on a large, mission-driven project.
